NRV Livability in Action: 2019 Regional Exchange
You are invited to attend the 5th annual Livability in Action Regional Exchange! This event provides an opportunity to come together, share and learn about exciting work underway across the region that supports the goals and priorities of the Livability Initiative and to identify potential partnerships and collaborations.
The Agenda
The Livability Leadership Team is still finalizing our agenda for this year. However, we will continue to have a lightning round of speakers, who will each provide a quick sketch of their recent and innovative efforts to:
- Expand alternative transportation options
- Address the need for affordable housing
- Improve access to early childhood education
- Develop our workforce and retain talent
- Revitalize downtowns across the NRV
- Increase access to the arts
- Prioritize community health needs
- Understand water quality trends
- And more....
The event will also include a panel to provide insights on how we might address challenging community issues. The event will conclude with a networking lunch. Please feel free to invite others who may be interested in joining us!
