Daniel Nahmod welcomes Kusala Bhikshu to the "Living Room" at Humanity Music Studios for an evening of stimulating dialogue, music and contemplation.
Daniel Nahmod recently performed at an interfaith event in Garden Grove, CA, where he experienced the wit, wisdom, eloquence and humility of this extraordinary Buddhist Monk first-hand. Kusala Bhikshu is a prominent presence in the American Buddhist community, having been asked just this past month to personally introduce the Dalai Lama during his birthday visit to Orange County. Yet Kusala is a leader not only in Buddhist practice but also in interfaith dialogue, humanitarian service to incarcerated youth, visits to hospitals to offer comfort, lecturing and speaking nationally... and, perhaps most unexpectedly, blues harmonica!
This special and intimate evening, hosted by Daniel (who will perform briefly as well), offers a unique opportunity to gain a fresh, timeless perspective on self, service, and sacredness, from the powerful perspective of a man living from his very center. At a special reduced price, and including light snacks, free parking, and a stimulating question-and-answer session, this is an evening you won't want to miss.
Tickets are only $16, including refreshments and free parking.
Seating is extremely limited.
(Studio is fully handicap-accessible.)
