Our History...

The Lake Tahoe Community College District was formed on Tuesday, March 5, 1974.

The original campus was located in a converted motel near Rubicon Trail. In the 80's, LTCC added the West Campus, located on Lodi Avenue near the mini golf course. In 1986, the campus secured its current location, where growth continues today. 

 Students now enjoy their education on state of the art facilities including the Duke Theatre, the Fitness Education Center, Lirbary, and Child Development Center, which recently celebrated 20 years of caring for our community's children.

With the continued generosity and support from our community, we hope to bring more programs and opportunities to our campus for everyone to enjoy.
