Mindfulness Webinar for Third Culture and International Youth (and those that care for them).

The Mindfulness Webinar scheduled for today has been cancelled. We are going to move the webinar to late summer/early fall and in the meantime, try to generate more interest.

In the meantime, if you would like to learn more about mindfulness for third culture and expat kids, you can read Kate Berger's article on the topic here.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Are you a Third Culture or Global Nomad young adult? Or are you a mentor, parent, counselor or educator that cares for them? Join us as we explore mindfulness with the experts. You will have the opportunity to practice mindfulness techniques and to ask questions along the way.

What is Mindfulness? Mindfulness is a method of paying attention to the present moment using mind-body awareness techniques such as meditation, breathing and movement. It helps people respond to life’s challenges more effectively and without judgment rather than reacting to situations automatically.

We are excited to have international psychologists as our guest presenters:

Kate Berger, MSc is a Child and Adolescent Psychologist and certified mindfulness instructor located in The Netherlands. She is the founder of The Expat Kids Club, a private practice for children living in a non-native environment, and works in collaboration with Mindfulness International.

Debby Poort, B.A. Psychology  is a registered integrative therapist and certified mindfulness instructor located in The Netherlands. She is the founder of Yellow Wood Integrative Psychotherapy Practice, which supports expatriates worldwide. Debby is also founder of Mindfulness International, which brings mindfulness to international schools, expatriate children and adults.
