______________________________________________________________________________________

A full-day, live, interactive Lead the Change workshop that brings library thought-leaders, directors, and staff together to learn how today’s top libraries are leading change and transforming their communities.

All change starts with a leader taking action and now more than ever, all librarians, regardless of job title, need to see themselves as leaders and change agents. Lead the Change is an interactive workshop that guides attendees through a series of collaborative exercises that will help you harness your ideas, clarify your goals, and create a personal leadership plan.

Produce your own action plan for success

As a participant, you will receive an action planner, and work both individually and in groups during reflection and discussion periods to build a framework for innovation and change. Throughout the day, David Bendekovic, program developer and lead instructor at the Pennsylvania Library Association Academy for Leadership Studies will provide insights, best practices and leadership tools that will help you tap into personal leadership qualities to transform your career, your library and your community, no matter what your stage of career.

Participants will also get access to The Commons, an online alumni community where librarians can share resources, make connections, and crowdsource solutions to their challenges.
