Embracing Generational Diversity in the Library Workforce Webcast

You do not need any special software to view and listen, just a computer!  Since passwords are changed frequently, we suggest viewing the webcast as soon as possible after registering. 

Description:

This webcast will cover the 5 generations currently employed in our workforce – Veterans, Baby Boomers,   Gen X, Gen Y and Gen Z.   You will gain a basic understanding of the generations, what makes them tick and the workplace characteristics of each.  There will be tips for motivating the different generations and also the commonalities in all of them.

Presenter: Tiffany Hentschel, SPHR, is the Employee Relations Manager for Johnson County Government.  She has worked in Human Resources in the public sector for over 20 years, serving more than nine years at the Johnson County Library.  Tiffany earned a Master's Degree in Human Resources Development and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management from Webster University.  She is a member of the MARC Government Training Institute Supervisory Certificate training team and also trains on a variety of HR topics.

Each registration entitles the registrant only to access the webcast. Registrations may not be shared in any way or viewed in a group setting. You may not broadcast or redistribute in any way without prior approval from Mid-America Library Alliance. That includes, but is not limited to, displaying webcast via projector, large screen tv, or overhead projector.
