Bad behavior in the form of harassment represents one of the most destructive workplace issues faced by employers today. Now more than ever, it's important to train all personnel to recognize the various forms that harassment may take and implement measures to prevent it in your library.

 

Presenter Pat Wagner offers realistic scenarios representing many different forms of harassment based on sex, age, race, disability, religion, and sexual orientation as well as topic areas you would not normally consider that create a hostile work environment including, bullying, intimidation, stalking, threatening, tormenting browbeating, needling and pushing around.


Pat’s presentation will include content and insights into bad behavior in the workplace and enhance the comprehension and retention of this critical information for library personnel.

She also was a book store manager and, for ten years, was a popular columnist and consultant for a national retail store magazine, where she researched and wrote on issues that impact libraries as well.  She is one of our most popular speakers who brings wit, humor and practical know-how to all of her presentation
