Description:
Whether you have a future poet or novelist asking you a reference question, a patron researching and writing about their family history, or a faculty member writing an article for a professional journal, writers are everywhere throughout your communities and campuses. In this webcast, we will discuss the value of writing programs and why public, academic and special libraries should invest time in hosting writing programs spread throughout the year.
Presenter:
Brian McCann is a librarian at Black & Veatch Corporation’s Central Library. He began his library career in Pennsylvania in 2006 the same year he finished writing his first novel. He has worked in public, academic and special libraries and also written several more novels. He has helped other people write their own works and LOVES talking about writing more than almost anything else!
Cost:
Each registration entitles the registrant only to access the webcast. Registrations may not be shared in any way or viewed in a group setting.
