Description:

Coaching has become an essential skill. In libraries and in the rest of the world, we are being asked to do more with less staff. And demands on our staff are increasing, as well. As supervisors, we need to help our staff overcome hurdles that impact their performance or inhibit them in some way so that we can all be more efficient and effective. From a coaching perspective, what we’re really looking to do is bring out the best in our staff.

In this webcast you will:

  • Distinguish what coaching is and is not
  • Identify your own characteristics and attributes of a coach
  • Learn a three-part coaching model that you can implement right away
