Hoops for CASA Kids - Basketball Tournament!

Please join us at the Winder Barrow YMCA on August 19, 2017 for the first annual Hoops Basketball tournament fundraiser aiding the children in Foster Care in Banks, Jackson, and Barrow counties through Piedmont CASA. Hoops for CASA Kids - Charity basketball tournament! 3 on 3, half-court, double elimination - winning team receives $300 cash prize! Entry fee for a team is $100. Teams can be built with a maximum of 4 players, all players must be 17 years of age or older.
Win prizes in our Free Throw Competition (prize: 50" TV) AND our 3-point Shootout Contest (prize: TBA) $10 entry fee per each contest. Registration for these contests will be available at the registration table.

Opening/Welcome 8:45 AM
Post Bracket Creation 9:00 AM
Game play begins at 9:15AM
Lunch Break 12:15 PM
3 Point Contest (during lunch break)

As Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) for children, Piedmont CASA has pledged to ensure that all of our foster children have a voice to represent them in court and their pursuit for a safe and normal life.
Trained to participate in the juvenile court system, CASAs provide critical feedback to judges who decide the circumstances by which a child may be returned to his or her family. Piedmont CASA's trained volunteers are a reassuring presence for children in their new and unfamiliar settings.
