Opioids: A Public Health and
Public Safety Crisis
Purpose
This summit is aimed to address U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) priorities in response to combat the opioid crisis, increase awareness of promising practices, and connect stakeholders with key activities and partners in Region II - NJ, NY, PR, and USVI.
Target Audience
Meeting attendees will include federal partners, mental health and substance abuse authorities, elected and health officials, public health and public safety professionals, law enforcement, health provider organizations, and stakeholders addressing and/or impacted by the opioid crisis in Region II.
