The presentation is an overview of the Disaster Preparedness app (the DPApp), which CAHF has developed to put facility emergency plans and other important information on mobile phones and tablets. The DPApp puts all CAHF’s information on how to prepare for, respond to and recover from a disaster situations ranging from wildfire to flood to earthquake and beyond. Best of all – it’s free! Cortney Kesterson with a background in non-profit program management, grassroots campaigning, and graphic design, Cortney Kesterson joined CAHF as the Disaster Preparedness Program Coordinator in August 2016. She is responsible for preparing LTC facilities for the inevitable and unexpected, by conducting educational outreach and facilitating SNFs’ involvement with their local healthcare coalitions throughout California.

 Matt Bryant joined CAHF in 2015 after 20 years in technology, broadcasting and online media. As CAHF’s Digital Content Editor, he’s responsible for writing and editing on CAHF’s many communications platforms, including the CAHF web properties, social media and printed materials. He also contributes to the development and delivery of technical training on CAHF's online tools.

$45.00/person ($40.00/person for additional attendees from the same facility on the same invoice with a single payment on the same reservation), for reservations received on or before Friday. February 17th - $50.00 per person for all reservations on or after Saturday, February 18th or at the door.
