This course will give an overview of some of the more common eye conditions SNF residents may develop and how these conditions impact their visual environment.  The course will also present a “walk through” of several facilities to demonstrate visual challenges residents may face on a daily basis and offer suggestions as to how to improve a resident’s visual environment and his/her quality of life.

David Turetsky in his 30 year optometric career, has had the opportunity to experience most all aspects of his profession.  He has been a private practice associate, corporate employee, HMO Director and Chair of a multispeciality quality assurance program.   Now, as a partner and vice president of a large specialty optometric practice, he ensures that the routine vision needs are met for approximately twenty-three thousand residents in skilled nursing, dementia and behavioral health facilities.

$40.00/person ($35.00/person for additional attendees from the same facility on the same invoice with a single payment on the same reservation), for reservations received on or before September 26^th - $45.00 per person for all reservations received after September 26th ^.or at the door.
