What topics are covered?

ABA Training

This seminar includes an overview of common behaviors and motivational teaching techniques for children with autism.  Terms and concepts that will be discussed include reinforcement, function of behavior, extinction, differential reinforcement, prompting, fading, and shaping behavior.

This class is an interactive presentation that includes group activities and video examples and useful handouts.  This class is focused on the work of therapists with children affected by autism, but we encourage anyone else who is interested to attend, including parents, family members, paraprofessionals and therapists.


How much does this seminar cost?

Meet your presenter:  Ehren Werntz, BCBA/LBA, Program Director

Ehren is a licensed and Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 10 years experience working with children and families affected by autism. Ehren has degrees in special education and psychology as well as formal training in the assessment and analysis of severe and challenging behavior from the Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis. Ehren has been with Arizona Autism United since 2006 and is currently the Clinical Director for Behavioral Health Services.
