Small Business Training Series 

This series' purpose is to provide current and prospective business owners with an ability to obtain knowledge in key areas of running a business. This series is appropriate for anyone who owns, manages, operates, or is considering starting a business. There is no pre-requisite for any session. Any business or potential business owner may enroll. 

Classes will be held on the following dates from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at the Capital Region Career & Technical School/BOCES, Schoharie Campus, 174 State Route 30A, Schoharie NY, 12157.

When it comes to successfully starting a business, having a great idea is only half of the battle.  Having a sound business plan is the other half.  Using a business planning guide as a tool, this course explains the components of a business plan, how to plan for success, the financial projections, and the supporting documentation required.

This session will give an overview of different local, regional, state, and federal funding avenues for businesses.  Where to look for funding, addressing what programs are available for your business, and what lenders are looking for in determining eligibility for funding will be discussed.
