Topic: 7 Steps To Nirvana – Selecting The Best HR/HCM System

Presented by:  Bernard M. Aller, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CEBS, Purveyor of Capability, POC & Associates, LLC

The presentation’s objective is to both highlight and detail a seven (7) step process to ensure the successful analysis, evaluation, negotiation, and implementation of a modern HR/HCM system … without any bias or preference towards any specific vendor or technology. Intended to be highly interactive, detailed discussions will be facilitated in the areas of:

  • Development of both a Needs Analysis and Specific Requirements
  • Use of a Bidder’s Conference/Evaluation of RFP Responses
  • Conducting Initial Proof of Capability Presentations
  • Backdoor Vendor Reference Checking
  • Development of an initial Implementation Plan
  • Planning and Conducting Win-Win Vendor Negotiations
  • Kicking off the Implementation Plan

Learning Objective

An HR professional may ask, “We know we need to update our current HR/HCM System but because of all of the new technologies that are now available on the market, we have no idea how to professionally conduct a search for the system that best meets our needs … where do we begin?”

At the conclusion of the Presentation, attendees will be able to walk away/be armed with a usuable tool with which to both plan and conduct an internal HR/HCM systems evaluation regardless of their prior knowledge or expertise of the highly technical, ever-evolving HR/HCM systems marketplace

This program is approved for 1 business HRCI and is 1 SHRM-SCP and SHRM-CP credit!.
