This course is a must for anyone who plans to work in an undercover (UC) capacity, as well as experienced UC’s wanting to freshen their knowledge and safety during UC operations.
Discussions will include UC tactics, best practices, UC equipment, and techniques to remain safe throughout a UC operation, as well as accomplish the UC goal. This course is designed specifically with the UC officer/agent in mind, with a paramount emphasis on using tactics & techniques to remain safe, to think outside the box, and think through stressful situations while working in a UC capacity.
The instructor has 25 years’ experience in law enforcement with 17 years of undercover experience. He has been the primary undercover officer in several hundred UC operations for both state and federal agencies, and a Special Agent at the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension – assigned to the DEA as a Task Force Officer. The instructor has taught at the Midwest Counter Drug Trainer Center, Johnston, IA – Advanced Undercover Survival, the Professional Development Institutes -Basic Narcotic & VICE course, as well as the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension’s – Advanced Narcotics.
