Basic Pistol Skills for Female Officers 

 

This course is designed as a great refresher of handgun skills.  It is a friendly and open environment to build, re-build or just refresh the essentials of shooting.  The emphasis is on shooting fundamentals, elements of shooting, and the SAFE series.  It will reinforce accurate shooting and positive manipulation of the handgun at varying distances and at varying targets. 

There are no egos allowed in this class, and it is certain to be a fun way to build your skills without stress or pressure from anyone else.  It is designed for all female officers and will be a good way to sharpen skills and network with others.

MN POST BOARD CREDITS: 14

TUITION: $400.00

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:

• Duty Handgun
• Magazines (at least 2)
• Method of carry consistent with duty assignment
• Clothing for the weather (we will be outside rain or shine)
• Ball cap (optional)
• Eye and ear protection (there will be some supplied if needed)
• 1000 handgun rounds
