PISTOL SKILLS 100

This course is designed for all shooters, and it will be beneficial to any officer that wishes to focus on shooting fundamentals and precision accuracy with their handgun.  The course will review the Saint Paul Police firearms program which covers all shooting fundamentals and focuses on building repeatable presentation of the pistol using the S.A.F.E. series.  The course is a two-day intensive review which focuses on the Elements of Shooting, and it reinforces the implementation of accurate shots at the speed necessary to achieve effective hits.  This course will help all shooters improve their abilities and refresh their fundamental skills.

Required Equipment:

• Duty firearm and 3 magazines (5 magazines if single stack)
• Duty belt (holster and magazine pouch which are applicable to assignment)
• 500 rounds of practice ammunition
• Eye and ear protection will be provided
