BASIC SWAT OPERATOR PREP COURSE 

The SWAT Operator Firearms Prep course is designed to give instruction on the fundamentals of using the handgun and carbine/submachine gun while in full SWAT gear. This course will give a very solid foundation of handling and employing both weapon systems in an operational set-up.  Full SWAT gear to include body armor, helmet, gloves, tactical holster, etc. will be worn throughout the course to give exposure to the needs and challenges that occur while deploying as a SWAT operator.

This course will cover the basics of loading and unloading, reloads, malfunction clearance, transitions, shooting from a variety of positions, shooting while moving, engaging multiple targets, and shooting from positions of cover.  Both weapon systems will be covered. Discussion on gear selection to include sights/optics, lights, slings, etc. as well as gear placement will be included. 

IF YOU REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE YOU MUST ALSO REGISTER FOR THE FULL SWAT COURSE ON SEPTEMBER 20-24.
