As explained in the Spelling Bee rules, in a given round, the Master of Ceremonies will give the same word to all teams. Team members may collaborate on the spelling, and then each team will write its spelling on an erasable white slate. All teams will then show their slates simultaneously. Upon misspelling a word, the team will be eliminated.
