About the Keynote Speaker:

Nancy Heydinger, is Founder and Director of Girls on the Run of Vermont, an  empowerment program that has helped over 44,000 Vermont girls unleash their  limitless potential by using running to deliver important lessons and skills.  Nancy  has been widely recognized for her work, including being recognized by the  President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition, and the Vermont Leaders in  Fitness and Sports. By many counts - as a marathoner, coach, and mother of three grown children - she represents strength, determination, and is a leader with a purpose to empower Vermont’s youth.  In 2016, her perseverance was put to the ultimate test when she was diagnosed with cancer, and spent the year battling and recovering from brain surgery. It took all her strength and determination to heal, while she focused on yet another goal - competing in the 2017 Boston Marathon.  Nancy will share her story and empower all women to stoke the flame within.
