Building your Wedding Business and Leaving a Lasting Impact
9:30 - 10:00 am:  Registration

10:00 am - 12:00 pm - Keynote speaker:  Nick Borelli, Borelli Strategies “Target your market, how to get the clients you want”  In an increasingly noisy world of marketing, how do you stand out? In order to get in front of clients that you know would be the right fit, you first have to understand what makes what you do unique and then separate yourself from your competitors. You will learn digital marketing strategies anyone can implement regardless of your technical abilities or budget. You will learn from proven successful examples within the wedding market of event professionals who are growing their business on their terms.

Nick Borelli, President and Strategist of Borelli Strategies, has been in the event industry since he was 14 years old. He specializes in digital marketing strategies through consulting, coaching, and brand communication management for events and event companies.  Nick has been awarded ILEA Esprit Award for International Volunteer of the Year, CBC Magazine’s Networking Star of the Year, Smart Business Magazine’s Social Media Impact Award, and the ISES WOW Award for Best Marketing Campaign over $75,000. In 2015, Nick was selected by Special Event Magazine as one of the 25 Top Young Professionals to watch. He speaks internationally on topics ranging from event technology, content marketing, digital and live engagement, trade show exhibiting, and leadership.
He has held multiple positions with the International Live Events Association (ILEA) including International Marcom Chair, Chair of Digital Strategy, Midwest Brand Champion, ISES Live Conference Technology Chair as well as Cleveland Chapter VP of Communication and President. Nick is the Chair of Public Relations and Marketing for the SEARCH Foundation and is on the Advisory Council for the Student Event Planners Association and Events Uncovered.

12:00 - 1:15 pm: Lunch & Networking

1:30 - 2:30 pm Ryan Esbjerg - Flex Your Face " Find Your Reason"  We will discuss why you should be afraid of camels, 5 words that will either make or break you, the importance of intentional consumption, and the difference between a Cow and a Buffalo....and maybe a few other things inspiring you to #findareason.
Life presents challenges to us all. It was only when Ryan worked through some personal darkness that the birth of Flex Your Face was initiated. Meaning to Smile, Flex Your Face, started as a Facebook group in 2014 and has grown into a global community with 74 Brand Ambassadors in 25 states and 8 different countries. This year Flex Your Face University was launched with the mission to strengthen every community we are part of by igniting positive relationships through sharing knowledge. With the unending goal to inspire through simplicity, Ryan is excited to spread the Flex Your Face mission every single day.

2:45 - 4:00 pm Rebecca Woodman Taylor - RWT Designs Let's get Social with Your Business" Finding your community, thoughtful content creation and time saving admin practices. It used to be a big joke that when Rebecca worked for Ron Ben-Israel Cakes, her unofficial job title was Operations, etc… and then it landed on her business card.
Rebecca has been working since she was 12 years old starting off at the local library as a page and helping them plan community events.  She has landed at some pretty unique businesses that has helped shape the career she has today:  La Jolla Chamber Music Society, Skitch Henderson & the NY Pops at Carnegie Hall, The Portsmouth Music Hall, Partnership for a Drug Free America, The Ensemble Studio Theater, Ron Ben-Israel Cakes, Ed Libby & Co and Floralia Decorators.  Now she is head storyteller for her own company RWT Designs.
What Rebecca figured out early on in her career is that she excelled at supporting a creative environment, keeping in mind the artistic integrity of the product/production and being sympathetic to budgets.  With this eclectic background, she has been able to foray that experience into creatively using social media for a variety of purposes.   She’s not just a “consultant”, but a storyteller using writing and photography with the current social media platforms to tell engaging stories.

4:00 - 4:30 pm Panel Discussion with Nick Borelli, Rebecca Woodman Taylor and Jackie Watson

4:30 - 6:00 pm Cocktail time and networking-  Network with your peers while winding down from the day. Cash bar.
