Guest Speaker: Mike Schwarz - Woodfield Investments

Mike will be discussing multi-family activity in the Charleston region along with growth patterns and future trends for our market.

Mike Schwarz is responsible for sourcing and developing assets in South Carolina, including The Heyward currently underway in West Ashley and three recently-completed apartment communities in the Charleston area: The Standard on James Island, Cooper River Farms off Clements Ferry Road on the Cooper River, and Wharf 7 on Daniel Island. Prior to joining Woodfield, Mike worked with the Woodfield founding partners while he was COO of Summit Properties Inc, a NYSE-listed apartment owner and developer. Originally from Chicago, he earned his Master of Accountancy (and met his wife!) at the University of South Carolina.

Mr. Olson joined Armada Hoffler Properties in 2013. In his role as Development Manager, his efforts are focused mainly on multi million dollar mixed-use projects located in the Greater Baltimore/Washington, D.C., Richmond , VA and Charleston ,SC. Mr. Olson has a Bachelor’s in Marketing and Management from Davis and Elkins College in West Virginia.
