Addressing Bullying and Domestic Violence Through Partnership
Research shows a correlation between domestic violence and bullying. Children who witness family violence are more likely to be engaged in instances of bullying - as perpetrator, victim or both. Respectively, this behavior is often carried into adulthood further perpetuating the cycle.
Join Northeastern University - Charlotte on Tuesday, May 5 from 4:30 to 6:00pm for a discussion to stop the cycle. Hear from those personally affected and actively working to prevent domestic violence. Panelist expertise comes from local government and schools, the National Basketball Association and nonprofit sector.
