Our training week is divided into our core and elective classes.  Through the registration process you will have the opportunity to choose the elective classes you wish to attend.

Our core classes include:

• Plant Maintenance
• Burner test stand, combustion testing, troubleshooting.
• Thermal Fluid systems
• Calibration, PLC MCC, AC Content, load cells, Micromotion
• Drum Trunnion Adjustment 
• Arc Flash Safety

Our elective classes include:

• Baghouse
• Blending Controls (BC300 and Ultralogiks)
• Burner Emissions/Tuning
• Gen 3 Burner Control
• Gen 3D Burner Control
• Flighting
• Plant Capacity
• Schematic reading and Electrical troubleshooting
• Silo/Transfer/Batcher
• SL400 Silo loadout
• Vector Burner Control

Classes start on Monday at 8:00 a.m. and ends on Friday around 12:30 p.m. Transportation will be provided from the Hilton in Altamonte Springs to Gencor Industries starting on Monday, the bus will leave the hotel every morning at 7:20 a.m. and will be back to the hotel at the end of each training day. 

You are responsible for the transportation from the airport to the hotel and back to the airport.  Taxi fare from the Orlando International Airport to the hotel is approximately $80 (estimated rate only/subject to rate changes).  Lunch will be provided Monday through Friday at Gencor.

Dress Code: Shoes with closed toe, and long pants will be required for class. Displays and instructions will be held in a construction environment.

Substitutions are allowed at any time.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Gencor Industries Customer Training programs are designed specifically for hot mix asphalt producers that own and operate HMA Facilities.

These classes are not open to industry vendors, suppliers or consultants.  To derive the most from these classes, one must own, operate and maintain an HMA plant.
