Topic: ERP Systems Implementation - The Dos and Don'ts



APICS Tampa Bay invites local supply chain, operations management, transportation and logistics professionals to our Professional Development Meeting on September 9, 2014 from 5:30 to 8:00 PM at Bascom's Chop House, 3665 Ulmerton Road, Clearwater FL 33762.  This will be a joint Meeting with the Financial Executives Networking Group (FENG).  

Our speaker is Ms. Carissa Brown, CPIM, President of the Pantologic Group, Inc. a systems and management consulting firm specializing in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems implementation and education.  She will be speaking on the topic of ERP Systems Implementation - The Dos and Don'ts. 

There is a proven methodology for implementing ERP systems successfully, whether you are implementing for the first time, converting, upgrading or re-vitalizing.  If your ERP implementation was less than stellar, Ms. Brown presents  concrete advice for post implementation fixes using a 5S approach to ERP.  The good news is that everything can be fixed.  This presentation is for you too, if you are implementing or in the planning stages and want to learn what NOT to do!

Speaker: Ms. Carissa Brown, CPIM



Carissa Brown, CPIM, LSSB, President of The Pantologic Group, Inc., holds degrees in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science / Industrial Applications.  She is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, APICS certified and has over 25 years of experience in Materials Management, IT Management, and is a specialist in ERP Project Management.

Carissa specializes in MRP, Manufacturing Planning and Scheduling, Cost Accounting, Supply-Chain Optimization, Factory Automation and ERP systems implementation including over 25 years of ERP implementations in multi-plant multi-company multi-national environments.  She is a certified APICS instructor and a frequent speaker at software conferences and APICS meetings.

Currently serving as the  APICS Hawaii Chapter President, Carissa is also the APICS Pacific Western District Staff Director of Chapter Benchmarking and Reporting (CBAR).  

Agenda:

This dinner meeting includes your choice of soda, iced tea and coffee, dinner rolls and a mixed green salad.  Entree choices are Grouper A La Maniere, Chopped Steak, and Chicken Dijon with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Vegetable Medley.  Dessert is a choice of Cheese Cake or Belgian Triple Chocolate Torte.
