Plant Tour: Yuengling Brewery

On April 8th, 5:30-7:30pm APICS Tampa Bay will tour the Yuengling Brewery. The tour will be conducted for 40 participants and closed toe shoes are required. The cost to participate in the tour is $10.00.

Step out from under the hot Florida sun to discover how the cool, crisp taste of Yuengling is brewed and bottled. Tour the Yuengling brewery in Tampa where "America's Oldest Brewery" uses modern technology to brew fine beer in a time-honored tradition. Sample the Yuengling heritage for yourself at the brewery's biergarten.  The new brewhouse, just built 2013, is now part of our tour!

Yuengling is a regional brewery that has manufacturing facilities in Pottsville PA and Tampa FL and has been in operation since 1829. Yuengling beer is currently distributed in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama and Massachusetts. The Tampa facility is presently a 450 to 475 barrel brewery; the new brewhouse addition brings the capacity to 675 barrels.  D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc. is owned and operated by Richard (Dick) Yuengling, Jr.
