Nadine Burke Harris is an American pediatrician who is the 1st and current Surgeon General of California. She is known for her work in adverse childhood experiences. She is currently working to bring universal trauma screening to California's health care system. You can read more about her here

 Her book, The Deepest Well: Healing the Long-Term Effects of Childhood Adversity, explores the relationship between adverse childhood experiences and adult health problems, drawing on scientific insights and personal stories to outline beneficial health interventions.

The book is currently available on Amazon for $9.88.
