2014 Annual Appeal

Support the Spiral Foundation and Get an Exclusive New Webinar!

Your support of the Spiral Foundation's work in the field of sensory integration and Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) makes an incredible difference in our ability to carry out education, and support services for people with sensory processing issues and their caregivers. In just a few short months we have broadened our research and educational horizons substantially, such that we were able to launch our new Self-Study program, expand our quarterly webinar series, and even add two new full online courses. Perhaps most excitingly, we are also now able to offer AOTA approved continuing education units for all of our live and online programs! Work is moving forward for our research projects. We’ve begun data collection for our Adult Sensory History and are now recruiting for a study on praxis and play skills in children.

All of which would have been impossible without your understanding and commitment to these issues, so on behalf of the Spiral Foundation, thank you so much.

Now, in the last stretch of 2014, we are looking ahead to next year and we are very excited about the future of Spiral and what we have to offer you. Our mission is to bring you another year of the quality educational materials and resources you deserve.

Our goal for this year’s annual appeal is to raise $35,000 between now and January 31. With that amount you would help us:

  1. Expand the number of free resources available on our site for families, teachers, and professionals.
  2. Compile and provide free resources for older children, teen, and adult clients.
  3. Update our site and improve accessibility.
  4. Bring an even greater variety of expert speakers to contribute to our educational programs.

And, if we meet or surpass our goal we will:

5. Offer a new free webinar presented by Teresa May-Benson, complete with CEU exam, in our webstore.

This year we are offering a variety of tiered rewards for all donations of $50 or more, including an exclusive one hour webinar, 'The State of Sensory Processing and Motor Performance in Individuals with Autism,' presented by Teresa May-Benson. Donating $50 or more entitles you to a copy of the recorded webinar and access to the accompanying CEU exam. This webinar will NOT be available in the Spiral webstore.

The Spiral Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and as such your donations are tax deductible. Please note that you will only be able to deduct a portion of your donation if you choose to accept any of the benefits detailed on the left. The total value of the benefits for each tier will vary; the maximum value of each benefit tier has been provided for your reference.
