NEW! Spiral Webinar:

Promoting Play Skills in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders

Presented by:

Sarah Friel, MA, CCC (SLP)

Monday, February 10, 2014
11:30AM - 1:00PM EST

Spiral Foundation webinars allow therapists and parents to learn from an SPD expert from the comfort of home. Plus you can earn contact hours!

This course will briefly summarize research findings on the developmental pathway of play in children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. It will then provide strategies for parents and professionals to encourage children with ASD to engage in interactive play.

An exam will be available at the end of the online courses - this must be completed to earn contact hours.

You will be able to download a copy of the webinar for your own use after the course is completed.

By the end of this presentation the participant will be able to:

1.  Identify ages and major stages of play development in typically developing children and children with ASD.

2. Recognize the developmental barriers that hinder children with ASD in engaging in interactive play.

3.  Implement appropriate strategies to engage children with ASD in play.
