Empowering Salesian Leaders (ESL) is a weeklong formation experience for Salesian alumni from high schools, parishes and youth groups between the ages of 18 and 23.

The program is organized by the Salesian Youth Movement Coordinator in conjunction with the Salesian Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. Via a series of learning sessions, workshops, community-building moments, and experiences of prayer, each participant deepens his or her identity as a Salesian Disciple of Jesus Christ.

The experience is intended to empower the participants to generate a vast outreach, in the Spirit of Don Bosco and Mother Mazzarello, where faith encounter, faith formation, and faith transmission can be experienced by young adults who desire to be a part of the Salesian Youth Movement.

The program participants must have both graduated from Salesian high schools, parishes and youth grups, and be between the ages of 18 and 23. The experience is intended for those youth/young adults who desire to be or already are a part of the Salesian Youth Movement and to assist them in deepening their identity as a Salesian Disciple of Jesus Christ.

Program Cost:
$215*
**NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $50* required.
If you are planning on paying through PayPal, there is a service fee which increases the cost.

Registration:
Registration will be open on March 27th!

Travel Arrangements:
If you are flying, please make your flights follow the following requirements:

Arrival (June 4th): Between 12:00pm - 4:00pm
Departure (June 9th): After 5:00pm
Once your ticket has been purchased, please send the itinerary to the Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry.

Those who will be driving to the program must arrive by 4:00pm and park in the back lot of the shrine by the basketball courts.

Important Dates:
March 27th: Registration opens
$50 deposit due immediately after registration.
Consent and Release** form due immediately after registration. Registration is not guraanteed without Consent and Release form and deposit.

May 15: Registration closes.
May 19th: Final Payment and itineraries due.

For all of those who are in High School and graduating, please let your CYM know you will be registering for this program. Because of our Safe Environment policy, we will not be able to receive those who are 17 years old. Our Office must abide by these rules to create a safe environment. We apologize if this causes any disappoint, or misunderstanding.
