Gospel Roads I: St. Petersburg Individual Registration

Gospel Roads is a service retreat for young people from ages 16 to 25. The program is coordinated by the Salesian Youth Ministry Office in New York. Through hands-on experience, participants and their team leaders grow as Christian disciples who are disciples who are called to live the Gospel in joyful service with the young and the poor.

The first of the Gospel Roads programs, Gospel Roads I, is a combination of a retreat and a service project. During the day, participants visit a variety of work sites, which include the following:

• community food banks
• crisis pregnancy centers
• public beautification projects
• soup kitchens
• homeless shelters
• helping the elderly
• summer camps
• community centers
• and more...
The Gospel Roads program is designed to build strong Christian and Salesian community.  Each day, there is time set aside for community building, daily prayer and Mass, reflection on the day's experiences, recreation, and community meals.
