Please join us for the 2017 SANE-A Training. This training is provided at no cost by the WY Office of the Attorney General, Division of Victim Services.
Terri Augspurger, MSN, RN, CFN, SANE-A/P, AFN-B/C will be facilitating this course. This course guarantees compliance with the most current edition of the IAFN SANE Education Guidelines, and ensures the training meets the eligibility criteria established by the Commission for Forensic Nursing Certification required for participants to sit for the SANE-A exam.
This intensive training consists of forty hours in the classroom intended to teach nurses the key components and skills necessary to provide effective healthcare and services to the adult and adolescent victim of sexual assault, and will include the provision of training manuals for all registered participants, simulation models, and other necessary equipment/materials for didactic practice.
This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Ohio Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
Registration for this event requires attendance at all 5 days of training.
