CAWEE invites you to register for our 50th Anniversary Fall Conference, September 30 - October 2, 2015 at the Double Tree by Hilton, Berkeley Marina. We will have some special activities as well as our usual workshops and speakers. More information will be available on our webpage at cawee.org.

CAWEE is celebrating its 50th Anniversary supporting work-based learning professionals in developing, promoting and improving high quality career technical education (CTE) programs with particular emphasis in providing quality workshops for members in Work Permit certification, Linked Learning, Career Exploration, Exploratory & CTE Internships for Career Pathways, curriculum, job creation, and job search strategies.

This 2015 Fall Conference offers a 'Golden Opportunity' for all work experience teachers and all of those school wide staff members who are challenged to oversee youth safety on the job by approving and issuing student work permits. 

As always, our Fall Conferences are so full of information and sharing that attendees go home with more information than they ever thought they would be exposed to. 

A Change in Registration Fees

This year we are offering a GOLDEN SPECIAL to ALL registrants, new or renewing...
There will be one fee of $300 for regular conference admission! This fee includes all rights to membership for those who register. Additional fees apply for Pre-Conference Workshops.

MEMBERSHIP FEES:
There is no need to send in a separate membership form if you register for the Fall Conference. If you are NOT attending the Fall Conference, you will find a separate 2015-16 Membership Form on our website at cawee.org.

Deadline to receive your PAYMENT and your registration at the Regular Conference rate is September 14, 2015. Any regular conference fee payments or registrations received after that date or at the door will incur an additional charge of $75. There is no increase in fees for late registration of Pre-Conference workshops.

Please Note:
If District Business Office or Administrative Staff is Registering You:

Due to the fact that many attendees ask district staff to complete their registration and payment, we experience a disconnect between the payment we receive and for whom the payment was made. To enable us to make that connection more accurately, we need the district staff member who is completing this form or arranging payment to identify themselves by completing ITEM "A" on the Registration form. 

PAYMENTS received after September 14, 2015 will incur a $75 late registration fee, so we suggest you use a personal or district credit card to avoid being charged this additional amount. CAWEE will bill registrants for any late fees incurred.

Pre-Conference Workshops - September 30, 2015

Once again we will be offering our popular 2-hour Coordinators Workshop in the early morning, of September 30, 2015,  followed by our 6-hour Work Permit Certification Workshop. The Certification exam is always administered on the Friday morning of the regular Conference. 

The Coordinators Workshop is offered to all new and experienced WEE coordinators who wish to learn more about managing their programs. WorkAbility and others who work with sourcing jobs for students can gain valuable information from this workshop as well

CAWEE Polo Shirts

We are offering for sale our CAWEE Logo Shirts as seen in the photo here on the left. Price is $25 each.

Order by the deadline of September 9 nd we will deliver your shirt to you at the fall conference.

If you prefer to have your shirt(s) mailed to you, there will be a $5 postage charge for each one purchased. You can order these on the registration form that follows.

Hotel Reservations

CAWEE and the Doubletree by Hilton, Berkeley Marina have created a special link to register for your room for the conference. It would be a good idea to reserve your room now before our room allotment is filled.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

A full refund of fees, less a $25 processing fee, will be made if a written cancellation is received on or before September 25, 2015 via postal mail or email to registrar@cawee.org.
