In support of its critical mission of training and education in the field of Mucormycosis, the Henry Schueler 41 & 9 Foundation is hosting the 2019 International Forum on Mucormycosis at the Palmer House in Chicago, IL on November 7th & 8th.
The Forum will bring together the world’s internationally recognized experts in the field of mucormycosis to discuss the current state of the science and to identify the directions for future investigations of this infection, including molecular taxonomy, epidemiology, pathogenesis, genomics, host defenses, clinical assessment, diagnostic imaging, laboratory diagnosis, and antifungal pharmacotherapeutics. Each of these topics will be presented in a lecture format and then discussed vigorously by the speakers in a roundtable format, while questions and comments are also provided by attendees.
Attendees will include the world’s leading key opinion leaders and experts in the field of mucormycosis and medical mycology. Other attendees will include physicians, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, clinical microbiologists, fellows, students, other health care providers, patients, and patient advocates.
Hotel accommodations are $169/night and can be booked through the Foundation's Hotel Block at Palmer House.
We hope to see you in November!
