APWA Central Branch Springville 3 MG Post-Tensioned Water Storage Tank Tour 

Please join the APWA Central Utah Branch for a show and tell field trip on Tuesday May 24, 2022 at 11:30 am. Springville City is constructing a new 3 MG post-tensioned water storage tank, this is a great opportunity to see “under the hood” of the tanks construction. We will have the opportunity see the reinforcing system used for the post tension tank up close, understand why Springville City elected to construct the post-tension tank and understand the benefits of the design. Jones & DeMille Engineering will host a lunch after the discussion at the job site. To get an accurate head count for food we ask that you RSVP to the event. This is an active job site, so we ask that you come prepared with your PPE.

Due to construction scheduling, there is a possibility that the field trip may be delayed a week to Tuesday May 31, 2022. If this is to occur, we will make you aware on Friday May 20 of the change in date. The site is located at 1900 E, 400 S in Springville. Take Exit 260 (400 South) and continue east for 10 minutes.
