“Vibrant” (adjective):
* Full of energy and enthusiasm, spirited, lively, vigorous, vital. Exciting.Dear Elders, Members, Presbyters, and Partners in Ministry:
The Presbytery of Milwaukee seeks to train and equip vibrant leaders for vibrant congregations in southeast Wisconsin. Each time we meet, an outstanding presenter (or team) teaches and inspires us in the ways of Jesus Christ.
On Tuesday, September 15, David Lose will lead the Presbytery through some of his discoveries from five years of research with vibrant congregations. What sets them apart? What can we learn from them? How do they present the good news of the gospel within and beyond the doors of their buildings?
Dr. Lose has the right stuff to “walk the talk” as a professor of Biblical Preaching, founding contributor to “Working Preacher” (online), and seminary president dedicated to training new generations of “vibrant” clergy.
The meeting will be held at Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church, 2366 N. 80th St., Wauwatosa, WI 53213. It starts with a 3:00 p.m. “pre-presbytery” conversation with Michelle Henrichs about developing a new worshiping community. The business meeting follows, along with Dr. Lose’s presentation and supper. After supper, we will worship together, with Dr. Lose preaching.

I look forward to seeing you there – spirited, lively, vigorous, and bold – in the grace and power of the risen Christ.
Peace,
Jim Rand, Moderator
Presbytery of Milwaukee
