The BIG Day of Foster Care 

On behalf of Councilmember Charlie Winburn, we invite you to partake in The BIG Day of Foster Care, a strategic and historic city-wide initiative that promotes high visibility, awareness and builds public will to increase the capacity of the foster care system. 

The importance of your attendance at this event cannot be underscored.  The mayor responds to numbers and we need to pack City Council Chambers to show that Foster Care in Cincinnati is a city-wide priority.  Please register below as soon as possible.

1pm-1:30pm: Foster Care Providers and Guests Attend the City Council Meeting
1:30pm-2pm: Foster Care Provider Testimonials to the Mayor & City Council
2pm-2:15pm: Proclamation of The BIG Day of Foster Care
2:15pm-2:45pm: Corporate Resolution
2:45pm-4:00pm: Reception with Refreshments

Please plan to arrive EARLY due to parking and security. Everyone must sign in at the City Hall entrance. We have no control over this and security is strictly enforced.

Public parking, meters and lots are available around City Hall and Duke Energy Convention Center on 9th and Plum Streets.

We expect over 300 people: seating and standing room only is available in City Council Chambers (3rd Floor) and in Council Chambers overflow rooms to the right and left of Chambers. The 4th Floor Balcony is also available for seating. The overflow rooms will have a live telecast of the proceedings on monitors. We will have 20 volunteers greeting and answering questions from attendees.
