Self Injury: Helping Those Who Hurt ThemselvesParticipants will learn about the various forms of self injury and various thought processes that can lead to self injuy as well as understand how to engage, question, and respond to those who are self injuring.  Participants will also learn therapeutic techniques and methods to intervene and assist clients who self injure. Supporting Youth in Healthy Relationships: This webinar will review strategies to assist youth idenify key factors in healthy relationships as well as ways to maintain those relationships. Presenter: Melanie Palmer, M.A., IMFT-S

Understanding and Managing Emotions: Participants will identify and learn about parts of the brain that impact emotions.  Participants will also identify triggers and the impact of stress as well as learn key concepts about self-monitoring and self-regulating emotions. Working with Families Experiencing Separation and Divorce: Participants will learn about the impact of separation and divorce on children and identify and discuss protective factors.  Participants will also learn about intensive parent-focused efforts that increases parents’ communication and parenting skills resulting in reducing stress on children.
