This is an invitation for you to join Colorado’s finest Career and Technical educators at the 2016 Colorado Association for Career and Technical Education (CACTE) Summer Conference.  The Conference will be held July 18-21, 2016, at the Sheraton Steamboat Resort in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

This year we have a unique opportunity to focus on our new CTE educators.  You will meet approximately 275 -350 career and technical education teachers and administrators from ten CACTE divisions to expand your network of contacts, display your products and services, and enjoy a receptive audience.  To meet your needs, all divisions will meet at the Hotel Conference Center. Exhibit areas are located in the foyer and access to exhibitors will be at all times.

The Trade Show will run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Tuesday, July 19 and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Wednesday, July 20.   As always, we will accommodate exhibitors on a first come basis and will do our best to accommodate each one of you.  The deadline to receive your application and payment is June 15, 2016.  We will have more space and break out rooms available for special training if you would like to provide this to attendees. Please note that in addition to exhibit space, we are also looking for sponsors for various activities at our conference. We will recognize any sponsorship(s) in our program and at one of the General Sessions. ANY help you can give us will be very much appreciated!

 Conference Costs:

SPACE COST: $425.00 for one table space and no electricity. See other options on sing up area below.

BOOTH INFORMATION:  One 6 ft. table, covered and draped, will be provided.  Additional tables are $50 each.  A $35 charge will be assessed for electrical hook-up.

GIVE-AWAY:  Each exhibitor is encouraged to donate a gift for the CACTE Fund, which supports our Professional Development Scholarship fund for educators.  You will be given promotional credit, your gift will be displayed and identified in the exhibit area and your company will be recognized when the prize is awarded.

EXHIBIT EXPOSURE:  Approximately 325 CTE professionals are expected to attend this year’s conference. Networking breaks will be held in the exhibit area. 

EXHIBIT BOOTH SET-UP:  All exhibits must be in place and ready for the opening by 8:00 AM on Tuesday, July 19.  Exhibitors will dismantle after 4:00 on July 20.  Exhibits may be set up in the afternoon on Monday, July 18, 2016

 SECURITY:  The exhibit area will not be secured during off-times. CACTE can not guarantee a secured area. Please make arrangments for this!

SHIPPING MATERIALS:  All freight should be consigned and prepaid to the CACTE Trade Show Manager, Darrell Green, to Sheraton Steamboat Resort, 2200 Village Inn Court, Steamboat Springs, CO, 80477 NO EARLIER THAN 2 DAYS IN ADVANCE (or additional charges will apply).

SPONSORSHIPS:  Exhibitors may sponsor activities at the CACTE conference.  Available sponsorship opportunities include:  An afternoon dessert break, dinner and evening entertainment, lunch, Legislative Breakfast , an afternoon Networking Happy Hour or our Awards Luncheon. See the form for details.

ELIGIBLE EXHIBITS:  CACTE reserves the right to decline or prohibit any exhibit which, in their judgment, is not suitable or in keeping with the educational development of the association.

SALES:  CACTE, follows all rules under rulings of the IRS, and is a 501(c)(3) organization and must follow all rules under the IRS regulations. Some sales may be limited or not allowed.

REFUNDS:  Failure to provide written cancellation or rejection of the space before June 1, 2015 or failure to appear at the conference relieves CACTE of any obligation or refund.

RELOCATION OF EXHIBITS:  CACTE reserves the right to alter locations of exhibits, if deemed advisable and in the best interest of the conference.  Prior exhibitors will receive priority in space assignment.

NON-LIABILITY:  Neither CACTE, any of its officers, staff, or members, nor employees of the hotel will be responsible for any injury, loss or damage to the exhibitor, his employees or his property.  CACTE and the Hotel will exercise reasonable care for the protection of the exhibits.  However the exhibitor is responsible for loss, damage or injury.

FIRE, SAFETY, AND HEALTH:  The exhibitor agrees to accept full responsibility for compliance with local, city, and state fire, safety, and health Ordinances regarding the installation and operation of equipment.  All exhibit materials and equipment must be reasonably located within the booth and protected by safety guards and devices when necessary to prevent personal accidents to spectators. Security will not be provided on site at off hours.

CANCELLATION OF SHOW:  Should the conference and exhibition be canceled, postponed or abandoned due to fire, strike, weather, or other uncontrollable circumstances before the opening date, this contract will not be binding and exhibitors will receive refunds.

Program Logo and contact information:  If you would like to have your company logo and contact information in the conference program please have a jpeg graphic and the contact information to cacte@CACTE.org by June 15.
