As the Minnesota Humanities Center takes the next few months to do some strategic thinking, we are scheduling a series of listening sessions throughout the state. Each session will explore local issues, gather people from diverse backgrounds to express views about key issues of concern and opportunities, and surface how the Humanities Center may collaborate to support community solutions. In each listening session, a Humanities Center staff person will guide the conversation based on a series of questions and keep a record of the responses. Those responses will be used to help shape the development of the Minnesota Humanities Center’s strategic direction for the next three to five years. We are really looking forward to learning from the great people in and around your community about the community’s thoughts, perceptions, and needs. |
