LLL of MA/RI/VT 2014 Area Conference

Join us at UMASS Lowell April 12 & 13, 2014 for the La Leche League of MA/RI/VT Area Conference “Finding Joy In The Journey.” We welcome guest speakers Marian Tompson, LLL co-Founder, and Diana West, IBCLC,co-author of the 8th edition of the Womanly Art of Breastfeeding, and many other knowledgeable speakers. Our annual conference gathers families with nationally-recognized parenting and breastfeeding experts, healthcare providers, and La Leche League representatives for a weekend of education and fun for the whole family.

Saturday’s Breastfeeding and Parenting Conference offers a wide variety of topics from pregnancy and birth to the teen years and beyond. There is something for every phase of parenting life! Session topics include breastfeeding, parenting, nutrition, communication and childbirth. Continuing education credits for lactation professionals are offered. Sunday’s Leader Education Workshop is a day just for Leaders with opportunities for additional breastfeeding and communications topics and networking opportunities.
