Watch Painted Lady caterpillars grow, form chrysalides and hatch into butterflies. Learn about the anatomy, life cycle and the role of a butterfly in its environment. The butterfly life cycle takes three to four weeks to complete. Most applicable to grades K-4. A classroom presentation by Sedgwick County Extension staff is available and can be requested when ordering the larvae.
