Growing Growers ICT - Farm Tour at Teck Farms

Tecklenburg Farms LLC, operated by Chris and Shawna Tecklenburg, is a certified organic operation that produces fresh vegetables, herbs, and eggs.The 6-acre farm is located in Hutchinson, KS. Being licensed for food processing with the KDA, as well as having an excellent processing and storage facility, makes this farm a great place to learn about the safe processing and storage of fresh produce-something we will be focusing on for part of this tour! If you have questions about post-harvest practices, growing organically, or just providing nutritious food to your community, you won’t want to miss this!

If you order book(s) with your registration, we ask that you pick them up at the Sedgwick County Extension office if at all possible. If this isn't possible we can bring them to the farm tour or make other arrangements if needed.  

This event will be in-person only. We will be meeting at the location of the tour. Parking info will be sent out prior to the event. If you are unable to travel to the farm tour location, please reach out to discuss alternate options.
