This class will provide an introduction to selecting, planting, and growing raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries in south central Kansas, with an eye toward commercial fruit production. Topics covered will include soil preparation, variety selection, maintenance, and considerations for commercial production.
**SPOILER ALERT** Blueberries require very specific soil characteristics that are difficult to replicate in most areas of Kansas. We will discuss basic blueberry information, but it may not be a good choice for you.
This class can be attended in person, virtually on Zoom, or by viewing a recording of the class. To receive a recording of the class you must register for the class.
