Guest Speaker - Ollie Mulligan, Owner of the international award winning distillery, Great Wagon Road Distilling Company. 

Followed the presentation, there will be a private tour and tasting of the Whiskey and Vodka produced by the distillery. 

The Great Wagon Road Distilling Company is not only the oldest distillery in Mecklenburg County, it’s the first one in North Carolina to have its own bar, The Broken Spoke. It really is the best of both worlds, and some of the best spirits from around the world all in one place and great food as well. Ollie Mulligan, who started the distillery, is a throwback to a  nother time and place. A native of County Kildare, Ireland, Ollie hails from a long history of whiskey makers – some more infamous than others, but all with a passion for distilling small batch spirits. Ollie opened The Great Wagon Road Distilling Company to continue the tradition of distilling right here in Charlotte.
