This seminar will be centered on various defense mechanisms identified by Sigmund Freud and Anna Freud. Details about defenses universally used by people to protect themselves and to avoid change will be presented. The seminar will focus on the Id, Ego, and Superego, and how to help clients develop insight about their use of defenses in everyday interactions.
