Seminar Outline:
This seminar is highly relevant to current social work practice. This seminar will provide social workers with clinical practice knowledge and skills. Topics include learning how to monitor the client - therapist relationship and how this relationship changes. The seminar is based on theory and practice guidelines to provide details on how to process relationship issues and to develop knowledge and awareness of subtle changes. This is a key issue in successful clinical practice since research indicates that the relationship is the foundation of treatment. Case examples illustrate the important social work issues also.
