Volunteer Registration

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU - you're about to register as a volunteer for Prince George's annual craft beer tasting festival. Please read the following important volunteer information and the schedule on the left side:

Event Details:

• This is going to be fun event to volunteer at - we raise funds for Kiwanis projects and children charities and increase community pride through a fun signature social event
• Kiwanis AleFest is being organized by Kiwanis Prince George, a local non-profit community service organization, however we couldn't make it possible without our sponsors and volunteers. 
• This event annually showcases great local craft beer, food, music and art - there are three 3 hour tasting sessions - Friday 7:30-10:30pm, Saturday 3-6pm and 7:30-10:30pm 
• It's intended as a fun classy tasting event that has a comfortable feel closer to wine tasting festival than a beer garden
• 900 ticketed guests and over 100 volunteers along with brewery, restaurant and art gallery staff

Volunteer Registration Details:

• We're looking for volunteers who can contribute their time to cover specific shifts we've developed for covering the pre-event set-up, three tasting sessions, and post-event take down.
• Looking to register multiple volunteers? You can sign up as many as you want. However, due to a technical limitation we can just sign up 2 volunteers at a time. So for example if you want to sign-up 6 volunteers - unfortunately you need to go through the process 3 times and will have to provide unique email addresses for each of the individual volunteers.
• You must be 19 years or older to volunteer for the tasting session (and attend the event) - 2 pieces of identification (1 being photo ID) may be requested
• Once you've completed your volunteer registration, you will receive an email order confirmation from Kiwanis Prince George. If you do not see this confirmation email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder. If you are having any registration issues, please email us
• By being a volunteer you are giving Kiwanis Prince George and the media permission to appear in or on the promotional items such as, but not limited to, news broadcasts, websites, social media, marketing materials and advertising.

What We Commit:

• Provide a fun time and we sincerely appreciate the time you give
• Provide orientation sessions just prior to the tasting session 
• Thank you lunch at Kiwanis meeting - Wednesday. February 10th from 12:00-1:30pm at Twisted Cork Restaurant 

What You Commit:

• Provide a great attitude and enjoy yourself
• To show up 15 minutes prior to you scheduled shift
• Help us to hold a safe event by informing Kiwanis Prince George of any persons who appears intoxicated or whose conduct you or your staff deem to be objectionable. Kiwanis Prince George reserves the right to refuse admission and/or expel from the venue, any persons who appears intoxicated or whose conduct is deemed to be objectionable.
